Listening to stations

Different stations offer several different types of streams. If you don't have the appropriate client installed, you won't be able to listen to that station's stream. The Winamp client plays MP3 streams. The RealPlayer client plays Real streams. The Windows Media client plays WMA streams.

Some stations stream only within a Web page. Others block requests that don't originate from their own site: this means that the Listen link will fail. To get around this problem, copy the link address and open it directly from the compatible client (usually with File > Open or File > Play).
